Our Story

There’s no better feeling than when we match one of our precious puppies with their caring new owner. It’s why we put so much time, love and effort into making sure these special animals continue to be bred in a responsible way.

 

We’ve learned a lot about the process since our first litter was born in 2013, and have worked hard to develop and maintain a reputation as one of the top breeders in the Pacific Northwest for livestock guardian dogs as well as family companions.  Our puppies live in the barn with the alpaca herd and so become well versed in the fine art of guarding livestock!

Some of our buyers are just wanting a family companion, while others want a working dog to guard their livestock.  In that case, we suggest boarding the dog with us until the puppy reaches about 5 months of age so that Mom and Dad can teach the puppy the fine art of guarding!
