Sandollar Farms' Great Pyrenees

Sandollar Farms has been breeding Great Pyrenees in southeast Washington State since 2013.  Our love for the breed originated when we began looking for a livestock guardian dog for our herd of the very rare suri alpacas; and many of our alpaca friends also became enchanted with the breed and asked where they might acquire one.

We are excited to offer some of the best genetics in the Pacific Northwest, resulting in litters of the finest puppies in terms of health, conformation, and disposition by choosing breeding stock with those attributes. 

 

Some of our repeat customers will remember YoYo and Faith as our most recent stud pair. 

 

We have reluctantly retired YoYo (Johann Sebastial Bark) who is both AKC registered and OFA certified. 

He is being replaced with Simcoe Mountain's Ruff Around the Edges (AKC WS89195301), a badger marked male from the most recent litter of his dam, Simcoe Mountain's Faith through the Ruff Times whose sire and dam are OFA certified, sired by Julien Le Blanc who is DNA, OFA + CHIC Certified.  Julien has two champions in his pedigree and many in his extended pedigree.  This way we can continue that line.  He will be ready for breeding in the next 8 months or so.

We have also retired Simcoe Mountain's Faith Through the Ruff Times and replaced her with Intuition Farm Lala Laziza (WS84821401 who will be two in August 2026 (Lacey for short).  Lacey is up in Pullman for her first breeding as of August 2026; hopefully we will have her first litter in the fall of 2026.

Finally, we have purchased two other young females from Intuition Farm and will assess their entry into our breeding program as they get closer to two years of age.
